Delivery and Payment options.
How long until my Products are delivered?
Generally your Products will be manufactured within 10 working days. If we discover that there may be a delay with delivering the product within this time frame, will send you an e-mail advising you of the delay and the reasons for why.
Always refer to the product page more information for more accurate manufacturing times.
Once your product is manufactured, it will be dispatched within 1 working day, if you require the tracking number for your order, please advise us by email and we will send it to you once we have that information.
How much does freight cost?
Freight costs $7 to Auckland, $12 to the North Island and $35 to the South Island per order, no matter how many blinds you order.
Do I have to be home to accept delivery of my products?
If you are not sure you will be home to accept your products and would like the courier company to leave them by your door, please email us so we can inform the courier to do so.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the major credit cards Visa, Master and American Express. All payments by credit card are made using Paypal gateway for your security.
It's not required to have a Paypal account to make the payments.
We also accept Bank Deposit payments, please contact us for Bank Accont Details, or once you have placed your order on the website and select Bank Deposit as the payment option, you will receive an automatic email from us with the bank details.
Please always check you junk mail folder, depending on your system it might consider our email as spam.
You can also send us a cheque to pay for your products. Please once you have posted your cheque, advise us by email the details of your order, your full delivery address and the name to whom the blinds should be delivered to.
Warranty
What does the Warranty cover?
BlindsNZ limited warranty, covers yourself, the original purchaser against defects in either materials or workmanship. The warranty does not cover against misuse, incorrect installation, normal wear and tear or exposure to the elements.
What do I do if I have measured my windows incorrectly?
Call us on 09 973 4690 or send us an e-mail and we may be able to cut the blind down to size or re-make the blind to the correct size at a reduced rate.In the situation where the measurements given to us are too small, a new product must be ordered.
Unfortunatelly, due to the variaty of products we carry, we are not able to give you a refund or reuse de mismeasured blind, all our products are made to measure.
What happens if my products are damaged in transit?
If your product is visibly damaged upon delivery, please refuse delivery and your product will be returned to BlindsNZ. We will immediately repair or replace your product and send them back to you. You must inspect your delivery and report any damage to BlindsNZ within 3 days of receipt. After this time BlindsNZ cannot be held responsible for the damaged item or the replacement cost.
After I order my products can I make any changes?
Yes you can, but you must call us as soon as possible, preferably in the first 24 hours. BlindsNZ will try to help out on any way we can, but we cannot guarantee any changes after this time because your blinds may have started being manufactured. Some products will be manufactured even quicker than 24 hours, so please once you have received the confirmation of your order, check the details if they are all correct.
How accurate are your blind colours on my monitor?
Please order free colour samples before placing any orders. All computer monitors display colours differently and these can vary considerably. Order all blinds for the same room together to ensure that the same batch is used. Dye lot variation can appear between finished blinds and colour samples. The variances are minimal, but they can occur.

What hours can I call BlindsNZ?
Our opening hours are from 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Saturday. Of course you can email us at anytime for a prompt response.
I would like to visit the showroom, what is your address?
BlindsNZ is an Online Retail Shop only, we do not have a showroom where you can come and visit us to check our products. You can always check our image gallery to see what our products look like and if you require we can always send you more detailed images of our products.
Do BlindsNZ come out and measure my windows for me?
We have simple measure instructions and tips on our web site to help you with this stage. You can also call us on 09 973 4690 or email a photo of your window to us with a brief description. BlindsNZ is always here to help you.
Can BlindsNZ install my blinds?
We have provided installation instructions on the website. Simply go to the How to page section, download the instructions and follow the step by step.
What do I need to install my blinds?
Please refer to the product page, all our intallation instructions are available for download, and normally we provide a copy with the product once its shipped to you. You can also email us for instructions.
The Quote system.
Our quote system is the best way to get prices for the products you are interested, no strings attached and we will not retain any information about you.
How does it work?
Once you know the product you are interested go to our 24/7 Quote page, there you will find all the products we have available online for purchasing.
Simply select from the panel the product and type in the measurements, the system will automatically show you the price for that product and size, add to the Quote.
Once you have added the first product to the quote, the system will generate a quote number, keep that number in case you need to return to your quote.
How many products can I add to the Quote?
You can add as many products you would like to the quote, our system will automatically calculate the total for the whole order, and any discounts if available.
How long is the Quote valid for?
Normally the quote is valid for 15 days, whitin the 15 days you will be able to return to our website and retrieve your quote using your QUOTE NUMBER. If your are not able to find your quote in our system its very likely it has expired, please email us your quote number as we are able to recover it from our system but the prices might no longer be the same after 15 days.
I have not selected any colours on my Quote, why is colour not available for selection?
The Quote prices are only based on the Type and Size of products, the colour or configuration, like control side, control length will not alter the prices.
Can I save my Quote?
Yes you can, on the Quote panel you will find all the options to save print or add to cart.
When you save your quote our system will automatically will show you a preview of the quote and above that you can find a Create a PDF option, where you can save the quote on your system.
Or you can simply print the quote from the menu on the quote panel.
I'm happy with the Quote, how can I proceed?
There are a few options:
If you have the quote number and the quote is still valid, return to our Quote Panel and type in the quote number you have to retrieve it, once you have done that, click on the add to cart button on the bottom of the quote, there you can select all the configurations for the products you have added to your quote.
If you have a Quote pdf, you will find on the bottom of the quote a button that says Paynow, click on that button and you will be automatically sent back to our website for shipping selection and payment. ( please email us all the configurations for the products and the quote number ).
If you have a print out quote, you can find on the bottom of the quote our bank details for payment, please use your quote number as reference when making the payment. ( You must contact us by email advising us payment was made, and please send us your quote number and configuration for the products you are purchasing. )
How does the discount works?
The discounts are only available at this stage for roller blinds, and only for certain fabrics.
The discounts are done automatically by our system and they will be based on the type of fabric, size of product, the order they are place on the quote and the total value for the quote. You might receive a discount for a certain measurement and you might not receive another discount for the exactly same measurement.
Discounts are valid for payments by bank deposit, and same colour fabric for the job lot.

Why are BlindsNZ prices so much cheaper compared to other companies?
There are no middle men so we are able to offer you factory direct prices that our competition are unable to.
How many samples can I order?
Once you have an idea of the product and colour you are looking for you can order as many samples as you like, they are free to order.
If you are unsure of the product type or colour you would like, start by ordering one of each product type, once you have received those you will have a better idea of the product and then start selecting the colours you are interested on that product.
Sometimes we will receive spam requests, ordering all the colour samples for all products we have available online, if you require all samples of all colours to be sent to you, please email us your request or they will not be posted.
Can I order samples from the specials?
The products on specials normally will be sold out by the time you receive a sample. We can send you a sample, please advise the colour by email so we can post it to you.
Samples of specials are not available from our sample request page.
Our specials page changes almost every week, if you would like to order a product from our special page, email us your oder and we will confirm we still have that product available.
