Vertical Blinds are a traditional type of window covering, quite versatile adding sophistication and warmth to the room.
Vertical blinds are commonly used in commercial environments or for covering greater areas in one single piece for its easy operation and great results.
A self aligning mechanism distributes the blades evenly across the window providing the perfect coverage and protection. The blades of Vertical blinds can be 100mm or 127mm wide and you can choose vertical blinds cord or wand operated.

How to Measure Window Blinds
For Roller, Venetians, Wooden and Vertical Blinds you measure your windows the same way.

You will need:
Metal measuring tape
Pen
Paper
Inside or Outside fit?
1. For inside fit, the blind will be fitted just below the top sill, flushing with the frame of the window. All blinds are slightly smaller than the measurement provided (don't worry - we will make the allowance for you, unless you specify otherwise .
2. For outside fit, the blind will be fitted onto the window sill or on the wall, just above the window, slightly wider than the opening. All blinds will have no deductions or additions to the measurements provided.
3. Always record measurements in mm wide x mm high, measure the exact width and height in three different places (top, middle and bottom) even if they look alike, use the narrowest measurement.
4. Always pay attention if there are no obstructions, i.e. locks, handles and if any, make sure the the window frame is deep enough and has enough clearance to suit your blind.

For vertical blinds there is 2 options for controls: Wand or Cord Control:
Wand control the blind is operated by the wand, the tilting of the blades by turning the wand, by pushing the wand across to the left or right for stacking.
Cord control the blind is operated by a cord and a chain. The chain will tilt the blades for opening and closing and the cord will drag blades across.
Stacking options available for Cord Control only:
Normal Stacking: All blades when blind is open will stack on the same side as the control.
Opposite Stacking: All blades will stack on the opposite side to the control.
Split Stacking: Half of the blades will stack to the left and the other half will stack to the right.

Sample Colour for Vertical Blinds
There is no selection available for vertical blinds fabric from our sample page at the moment.
All the Premium colours under roller blinds are also available for vertical blinds. Please select any of those to receive your samples.
We also have available a Standard Blockout range which is not available from our sample request at the moment. Colours are White, Charcoal, Cream, Orchid, Tan and Wedgewood. Please email us if you wish to receive any of these colours.
Manufacturing lead time and delivery time for Vertical Blinds:
Standard Blockout 100mm and 127mm: 10 working days
Premium Blockout 100mm and 127mm: 12 working days
